Helping Paws Rescue will consider adoptive families regardless of location. Potential adoptors must be willing and ready to travel to meet their prospective pup at the fostered location. Dogs will be placed dependant on their personality and not on a first come first serve basis. Our goal is to make the best rescue match taking into consideration the animal's background and your family's needs. Every animal is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when making a furever-home match. We are very careful about the placements we make. We do our best to match the right animal with the right adoptive home because we want this to be the pet's permanent home.
We appreciate you wanting to bring an animal into your home. In order for us to find the right pet for you, we need you to submit an adoption application first.
**Applications must be approved before setting up a meet and greet with the pup**
We will review your application upon receipt. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity.
**Please contact all references including your vet, to let them know that we will be in contact**
Once your application review is complete, a Helping Paws Rescue volunteer will contact you via email, to let you know that your application has been approved to meet the prospective pup.
** This does not guarentee that the adoption is final, both parties must agree that the home is a match **
**Failing to contact your vet and references may jeopardize your chance at adopting your preferred dog/pup**
If the foster home does not feel that prospectice parents match the pups personality at the meet and greet, the volunteer will contact Helping Paws Rescue and you will be rematched with a pup deemed to better suit you and your families lifestyle.
