Meet Alfie!
Alfie is a 9-month-old Cocker Spaniel with a heart as big as his adorable floppy ears. This clever and handsome boy is already 90% housebroken—a feat he mastered in just three days!
Alfie is full of energy and curiosity, loving to play with both people and other dogs, whether indoors or outside. He’s a bold explorer, cautiously expanding his horizons a little more each day. Though he likes to think he’s the boss, Alfie is quick to respond to a firm “no” and eager to learn.
This sweet boy is all about his cookies and naps, often curling up right beside—or on top of—his favorite human. He’s incredibly gentle, with no food or toy aggression, even when his brother swipes snacks right out of his mouth. Alfie does enjoy chasing the resident cat but means no harm when he catches up, making him a playful yet kind companion.
Alfie would thrive in a home with a young family or someone looking for a loyal and loving friend. He’s kennel-trained, sleeping through the night and holding it for up to 10 hours, and is about to begin leash training, which we’re confident he’ll ace thanks to his eager-to-please nature.

Alfie’s adoption fee is $850 which includes neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines, heartworm/flea/tick prevention and complete vet check (adopter will be responsible for continued prevention and vet visits if you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.helpingpawsrescue.ca
